We are pleased to let you know that Velocity Lacrosse in West Chester will be offering South Dayton Catholic Lacrosse members a team discount throughout the month of November. All registered players will receive 10% off helmets and 15% off other items; this applies to both new and returning players. Just mention you are registered with the club at check out and the Velocity sales associates will apply the discount.
Helmets
Velocity offers the full line of Cascade lacrosse helmets in Athletic Gold — the official helmet color for SDC*. When purchasing a helmet, each player will be custom fit by a Velocity associate to ensure the proper helmet is being purchased. Please allow 7 business days for your helmet to arrive once ordered.
Pads
For new players who need to get a full set of equipment, Velocity offers a starter line of STX pads that are geared for the beginner. These individually sold pairs of gloves, elbow pads and shoulder pads are at the lower end of the price range and can be mixed and matched to ensure proper fit for each piece. A Velocity associate will walk through the entire fitting process with new parents and players.
Sticks
Velocity offers a broad range of complete sticks, shafts and heads. They can help you select the right stick for your player. If you have a head that need to be strung or a pocket that needs to be adjusted, contact SDC 8th grader Jack Kargl at

New Player Clinics
Velocity also offers new player clinics at Game Time Training Center (530C Quality Blvd. Fairfield OH 45014). Clinics are Saturdays from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm starting November 2 and running through November 23. Cost is $135 per player. No contact — the only thing required is the stick.
The clinics are designed to provide core instruction covering all aspects of the game. First time players will be provided with tools and fundamental instruction introducing them to the game of lacrosse in preparation for the spring season. These clinics are excellent for athletes of all ages wanting to learn lacrosse for the first time and also great for the intermediate players wanting to sharpen their skills. *Smaller players may need to purchase the the Cascade CS helmet for the proper fit. These helmets only come in limited colors so your player will have a white helmet and not the Athletic Gold. South Dayton Catholic Lacrosse urges you to purchase based on proper fit and not color for the safety of your player.
